Unaccompanied minors are those who come to the US and are under the age of 18. The reason as to why these children are entering the US is because of the horrific situations they find themselves in their respective countries. Families in other countries such as; Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador pay thousands of dollars to send their children to another country. They are not safe in their own countries. In countries such as these there is no real law. The police don’t do much to cease the crimes and the gangs whom threaten the community. They send their children here in hopes to be reunited with their loved ones in the future.
Los menores no acompañados son los que vienen a los EE.UU. bajo la edad de 18 años. La razón de por qué estos niños están entrando en los EE.UU. se debe a las situaciones horribles en que se encuentran en sus países. Las familias en otros países como; Guatemala, Nicaragua y El Salvador pagan miles de dólares para enviar a sus hijos a otro país. Ellos no están seguros en sus países. En países como estas cosas no hay ley real. La policía no hagas mucho que cesen los crímenes y las pandillas que amenazan a la comunidad. Envían a sus hijos aquí con la esperanza de reunirse con sus seres queridos en el futuro.
