You can’t knowingly file a frivolous application.  That means that one or more important claim in the application is false or that you had no  credible fear of persecution in your home country.  Don’t forget, immigration assumes your application is fradulent.  It is your burden to prove otherwise.  For asylum claims, a frivilous claim can barr you from ever seeking an immigration benefit in the U.S.

You must be thorough, complete, and totally honest when filing for asylum.  Make sure you consult with a qualified immigration attorney before filing an asylum based claim.
