What does the Immigration Bill do about criminals and threats to security or public safety?
These are the type of people who are least likely to avail themselves of the process being set up in this bill. By bringing undocumented immigrants without criminal records out of the shadows, this will also encourage those individuals to cooperate with law enforcement to assist in the apprehension of criminals, gang members, and who are otherwise a threat to national security or public safety. No one benefits more from the broken system of de facto amnesty than criminals.
