Description:

Collections person needed for rapidly growing cutting edge law firm specializing in immigration. We are seeking an experienced telephone collections person who is self-motivated, can communicate effortlessly with clients and bring them back onto a payment plan via an automated system.  This person should have a foundation in telephone collections and should be excellent at what they do.  Experience with the immigration process a plus.

 Responsibilities

  • Handle Inbound calls from clients.
  • Make Outbound Calls to clients whose payment is late.
  • Make Outbound Calls to clients who are not on an automated plan.
  • Make Outbound Calls to clients who request information from us via e-mail.
  • Receive payments from clients in person.
  • Some night and Saturday work may be required.
  • You will be judged on:
    • The number of calls you make.
    • The amount of money you collect in a week/month.
    • The number of new automated payment plans you create.
    • Your ability to work with the team.
    • Your survey results from Clients.
  • Communication will be scripted and you are expected to keep to the script.
  • Data entry is an essential part of the sales process.
    • Will be working with Client Relationship Management software daily.
  • Self-reporting daily on above-listed milestones.

  • Must be able to 
    • Listen and relate to clients while demonstrating why getting back on plan is good for them
    • Type, while on the phone.
    • Know how to operate basic computer functions.
    • Treat clients as if they are the most important person on earth!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Self-motivated and must take initiative.
  • We have a very professional environment with no toleration for slackers or whiners.
  • Timeliness is vital.

Work Environment

  • Estimated 40 hours/week.
  • Typical professional office environment.
  • Hours of operation:
    • (9-5) Monday to Friday
  • Dress is business casual.

Pay 

  • This is a salary based position.
  • We offer PTO/SICK Time Leave and Health Insurance.
