It depends on the results of the conviction. With your application for naturalization, you must provide a certified copy of the

  • court’s resolution,
  • the arrest report,
  • court disposition,
  • sentencing, and
  • any other evidence you would like USCIS to consider.

Generally, traffic matters do not fall into this category, unless they are alcohol or drug-related or involve fines of over $500 (many traffic fines meet this monetary threshold).
