Happy birthday?

Do you remember when you were excited about your birthday? You waited for days or weeks for that particular day. What will your parents get you? Or your friends? Did you wait for weeks or months for that bicycle or video game? When I was younger, weeks seemed to take years, and time would crawl. Now, I just turned 47, I blinked, and another year passed.

It may not be your birthday, but I am sure you can relate to the never-ending wait for your Green Card, U.S. citizenship, or immigration reform. I understand that frustration, and I have been there.
