It depends on the results of the conviction. With your application for naturalization you must provide a certified copy of the
- court’s resolution,
- the arrest report,
- court disposition,
- sentencing, and
- any other evidence you would like USCIS to consider.
Generally, traffic matters do not fall into this category, unless they are alcohol or drug related or involve fines of over $500 (many traffic fines meet this monetary threshold).
TIP: Have an immigration attorney review your criminal background and driver’s abstract before you apply. Don’t risk loosing your green card and your filing fee!
