Don’t Tell Me That You Love Me

I can’t get this song out of my head by the Night Rangers from 1982

It reminds me of the first days I moved to Israel in the 90s. I was at the interior ministry to get my social security card and identification. Sitting next to me was a woman we would call Sarah. Sarah became one of the great loves of my life, one of my biggest disappointments, and because of a promise I made put me on the path to be the man I am today.

But that isn’t why I mention her. You see, before I met Sarah, she had left everything and everyone she knew in the US to move to Israel and be with the man she loved. A new country, a new religion, a new language, and a new people. I know some of you can relate. By the time I met Sarah, that relationship was over, and she, like me, was lost.

But what about you? How has love changed your life? Did you leave your country for someone? Do you regret not going? Or are you contemplating that now?

This week, in my weekly live program, I discuss the difference between a fiancé visa k1 and a spousal visa k3. The fiancé visa k1 allows you to bring your love to the US so you can marry and be together. In contrast, the spousal visa k3 enables you to get your spouse to the US faster than a traditional green card process. You can watch the replay here.

If you want to discuss the fiancé visa k1 or the spousal visa k3 you can call here or click here to schedule an appointment with my team. Drop me a line and tell me how love changed your life. Just “Don’t Tell me You Love me.”
