Great Opportunity for Right Bilingual Attorney

I’m not looking for “just” an associate. I am looking for a Great Lawyer for our Long Branch office who loves using the law to help people.  This opportunity will not be for everyone but for the right lawyer this could be the opportunity you have been looking for to make the practice of law fun again.  I focus on the Hispanic community of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.  I need another attorney to join the practice so that I can open a third office.  As a firm, we concentrate on Spanish speaking immigrants.  In particular we help people get legal status and avoid deportation.  We help defend them from DUI and traffic tickets.  We help mothers keep custody of their kids and get the child support they need.  We defend people charged with domestic violence.  We also help injured workers get the treatment and compensation they deserve.

You will be working directly with a partner.  You will be in regular contact with the clients. This is a unique position for the right candidate.

Your starting salary will be commensurate on experience.  Legal experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.  You will start for a trial period of three months.  Benefits are available after three months.

Qualifications

I give lots of seminars, and publish a lot of content through books, reports, videos, and a monthly newsletter, so you must have excellent research and writing skills.  I believe in giving client’s quality representation in their language, so you must be fluency in Spanish to qualify.  Portuguese is a plus.  You should be licensed to practice law in New Jersey.  Other qualifications include the ability to learn quickly and work independently, excellent client interaction and counseling skills and a commitment to serve the local immigrant community.  This position offers the opportunity for growth for the right candidate.  Please do not apply if you are not able to conduct your interview in Spanish.

  2. Please email the results of those two tests, a cover letter, and resume, to [email protected]
